About Us

Disability Services of Colorado (DSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Colorado Springs community.

Our Mission is to provide exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities.

For 70 years our organization has focused on helping individuals with disabilities or special needs address life’s challenges and achieve independence.

Our Camp Scholarship Program provides partial scholarships to individuals who wish to attend Rocky Mountain Village Camp in Empire, Colorado during the summer months. This camp has been in operation for over 60 years and is fully accessible. Individuals from 6 to 106 are welcome to attend. Each week of the summer is offered to different age groups as well as type of disability. We raise funds throughout the year to be able to provide this opportunity. Visit our Camp page for more information.

Enjoy an afternoon playing Bingo. Every Thursday during the day we offer a bingo session at Carefree Bingo Hall located at 3440 N. Carefree Circle in Colorado Springs. Doors open at 10:00am and the calling starts at 12:00pm-NOON. Each week we give away $1,600 including two Double Action games and a Progressive game (slightly smaller payout if less than 60 players). The games usually end around 2:30pm. Food and drinks available at the snack bar and/or vending machines.

A group of dedicated volunteers assist us with fulfilling our mission by working the Thursday Bingo sessions, taking a leadership role with the Board of Directors and providing administrative support in the office. Please visit our Volunteer page to see how you can become part of this wonderful team.

The DSC Stroke Club is now meeting at The Independence Center. See the DSC Stroke Club page for more information.
